Darlene (Young) Newton

Newton, Darlene (nee Young), adoring mother of Pam Shelley, Patricia (John) Rader, Lee (Cyndi ) Newton, and Jamie (Fonda) Newton. Grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 1. Also survived by her brothers, Robert, Leon, Cecil, Ralph, and a sister, Doris. Preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Virginia Young, a sister, Mary Young and a brother, Joe Young and a son in-law, Tommy Shelley. Passed away on November 6, 2018 at the age of 73. She loved to read books and crochet and she retired with 30 years of service from Miami University. A visitation will take place at the Ogle & Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 5086 College Corner Pike, Oxford, Ohio 45056 on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 10 am until 12 noon. A funeral service will follow at 12 noon.
