Joan C. – Beloved wife of the late Larry L. Mapes for 55 years. Dear daughter of the late Melvin & the late Helen Jacobs nee Couch. Devoted mother of Mike (Kristie) Mapes, Amy Mapes Amann, Lisa (Dave) Seward, Jim (Candace) Mapes, and Rick Mapes. Cherished grandmother of Michael Jr. (Kelly), Amanda (Eric), Charlie Jr., Jake, April E., Brady L., Liz, Nick, Bella, Brady A., Stephanie, Ricky Jr., and Josh. Loving great-grandmother of Ashton, Dominic, Ryder and Myla. Joan passed away on January 2, 2019 at the age of 77 years.

Joan was a Beautiful singer. She was a faithful servant of the lord and served as the Pastor of El-Shaddai Christian Center since April 7, 2002.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 8th from 10 AM until time of the Funeral Service at 12 PM at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, OH 45231. Interment at Arlington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
