Mark H. Ankenbauer

Mark H. Ankenbauer  - Beloved son of the late Howard and Evelyn Ankenbauer. Devoted father of Joshua Ankenbauer and Jacob Ankenbauer. Loving brother of Cheryl Ankenbauer-Ruehl and Lynn (Steven) Bolin. Cherished uncle of Brian Bolin, Amy Jo Dull, Michele (Dave) Mescher, Jonathan Ankenbauer; as well as, many great-nieces and nephews. Dear nephew of Clyde Ankenbauer. Dear cousin and friend to many. Passed away July 7th, 2019 at the age of 66.

Mark retired from the University of Cincinnati Physics Department where he worked as a Laboratory Manager, Master Machinist and Tool and Die Maker. He was a natural outdoorsman and loved hiking, wildlife, kayaking, rappelling and photography. Mark passed this passion on to his sons. He will be missed by all who knew him.

An 11:30 am mass will be held Saturday, July 13, 2019 at St. Ignatius of Loyola Church, 5222 North Bend Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45247. Friends may visit from 10:30 am until the time the mass starts. A small reception will follow.
