Runnie Hall – Beloved wife of the late Charles Hall; Devoted mother of the late Barton Hall, late Clifton Earnest Hall, late Bill Hall, Terry Hall, Jerry Hall, Anna Marie Hall Hilgeman; Mother-in- law of Pat Hall, Loretta Hall, Laurie Hall and Brad Hilgeman.  Step-Mother of Wanda Gregson and Tom Hall. Loving grandmother of Darrin, Christopher, Kelly, Jennifer, Samantha, Tonya, Katlyn, T.J. Luke, Melissa, Leah, Andrew. Loving step-grandmother of, Missy, Brian, Jeremy, Jason; Cherished great-grandmother of 24; Loving sister of the late Richmond, Russell, Rader, Reuben, Rufus, Robert, Rodney, Ralph, Denzil, Lorene Keeton. Born December 25th, 1922 our devoted and loving mother went home to be with the Lord April 27, 2019 at the age of 96.

Her long life was filled with a devoted love toward her family and her Lord as well as toward those she knew and met. She came from a humble background that exemplified the true humbleness of the Lord as well as a life rich with loving kindness that she freely shared with anyone she knew or met. Her loving influence was well known by anyone who knew her.

Runnie loved to quilt and she exercised this gift until she was unable to sew any longer, many family members possess her quilts as true treasures as well as many strangers. Up until she could no longer quilt she made and donated quilts to a women’s pregnancy center for unwed mothers so that those infants could have a warm blanket.

Coming from a farming background Runnie developed apt skills as a gardener. She grew squash, zucchini, corn, beans and beautiful flowers. Her need to get her hands in the soil and grow food for her family followed her throughout life and she has passed these invaluable skills to her children.

It is impossible to place into words the loving impact that this generous woman from the mountains of Kentucky had. Such an impact was only possible by and through the Lord Jesus who used her to exemplify Christian love, and who she longed to be with in her twilight years.

A visitation will be held Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Paul R. Young Funeral Home (Mt. Healthy) 7345 Hamilton Ave. Mt. Healthy, OH 45231. Interment at Arlington Memorial Gardens will follow the memorial services. The funeral services will be conducted by her loving Son in law Pastor Brad Hilgeman.
