Anita Rena (Purvis) Lee

Anita Rena, age 54, of Oxford passed away on June 16, 2021, after a courageous battle with Glioblastoma.  She was born on July 30, 1966 in Virginia Beach, VA to the late Rick and Bobbie Purvis. 

Anita was an Office Administrator at the Rinella Learning Center at Miami University, she had been employed at Miami in various capacities for over 20 years. Anita was a dedicated wife and mother first and foremost. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as NiNi.

Anita is survived by her best friend and husband, Scott; children, Caitlyn (Zachary) Davidson and Austin (Jessica Garrison) Lee; grandson, Brody; siblings, Larissa Purvis, Genia (Richard) Richmond, Kim Hamblin, and Greg Hamblin; mother in law, Linda (John) Calderone; step mother in law, Jeannie Lee; sister in law, Melissa (Tim) Kovacs; brother in law, Denver Hall; her Soul Sisters; nieces, nephews and numerous other family and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sonia Hall; father in law, Michael Lee; and brother in law, Todd Lee.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 24, 2021, from 5-7 p.m. at the Ogle Paul Young Funeral Home, 5086 College Corner Pike, Oxford, OH 45056.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery.
