Survivors also include six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A professor of piano and music literature at Miami University of Ohio from 1965 to 1992, Anne had also taught before her marriage at Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio, and at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana.
