Bonnie Tedder Patton Edwards

Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great-grandmother, Bonnie Ellen Edwards went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 29, 2022 at the age of 97. Bonnie was one of nine siblings born on September 12, 1924 to the late Gordon and Bertha (Knight) Tedder in Roley, Kentucky.

Bonnie fell in love and married Ira Patton in 1942 until the time of his death in 1963, she was blessed to find love again and married Clarence Edwards gaining a son and two granddaughters, Bonnie was a member of Trinity Northwood Baptist Church for over 55 years where she taught Sunday School for 20 years. Bonnie retired from Perkin Elmer at the age of 70: she dedicated her life to her family, church and serving the Lord. She loved quilting, traveling the world and was everyone’s Aunt Bonnie.

Surviving are her granddaughter LeAnn (Barry) Wascher, great grandchildren: Danielle (Walter) Burnett, Barry Ryan (Jennifer) Wascher, Jenna (Ryan) Poulos, Kristia (Garrett) Schadenberg, Caleb Wascher and fiancé Brooklyn Hickey: 9 great- great grandchildren: sister Evelyn Tedder Lee and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by husband Clarence Edwards, daughter Charlotte Patton, son Lee Edwards, granddaughter Kristi Edwards-Hatfields, sisters: Lydia Delp, Okla Delp, Iva Collins, Imogene Phillips and brothers: Hershell, Estel and Brisco Tedder.

The family would like to thank special friends that became family, Mike and Linda Weitz and the staff of Triple Creek Retirement home for taking such loving care of Bonnie. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday May 7, 2022 at The Trinity-Northbrook Baptist Church at 9800 Loralinda Drive Cincinnati, Ohio 45251 from 2:00PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 4:00PM.  

Her final resting place is Cold Springs Cemetery in Liberty Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Trinity-Northbrook Baptist Church.
