Donald Edward Carpenter, Jr.

Donald Edward Carpenter, Jr. Beloved and Devoted Father of Tanya R. (Richard Jansen) Noah (nee Carpenter), Donald E. (Melissa) Carpenter, III, Keith R. (Miriah) Carpenter, and Micah Carpenter, Doting and Loving Grandfather of Breauna Carpenter, Sidney Noah, Hannah Carpenter, Jake Miller, Brice Carpenter, Haley Carpenter, Jonah Carpenter, and Great-Grandfather of Madeline Paredes, Dear Brother of Lisa (Jimmy) Baker (nee Carpenter), loving Uncle of Michael (Andrea) Neal, Caitlynn (Joe) Frazier, Aaron Browning, Grant Carpenter, Drew (Leslie) Browning, and Remi Baker, Great-Uncle of Ben, Sierra, Addison, Evelynn, and Roselynn Frazier, and Mya and Mason Browning, treasured friend to many, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Kettering Hamilton, at the age of 64.

Donald E. Carpenter Jr. was born in Hamilton, Ohio on Wednesday, October 3, 1956 to the late Donald E. (Alma Jewell) Carpenter Sr. and Margaret M. Carpenter (nee Spurlock). He was raised in Hamilton, OH, attended Taft High School, and graduated from Colerain High School in 1975. Donald was a long time Fairfield, OH resident, working as an Insurance Agent for Spurlock Insurance Agency in West Chester, OH until 2015, and then at Lighthouse Insurance Agency in Fairfield, OH. He was very active in his community, church and local politics, serving as a Board Member of the Fairfield Parks & Recreation Board, and 1st Vice Chairman of The Butler County Republican Party Central Committee, and worked as an advisor and consultant on many local campaigns. He was a member of Community Christian Church in Fairfield Twp. where he was involved in both a prayer group, as well as their community outreach program.

Donald was truly one-of-a-kind. He loved cooking and watching The Food Network, Cooking Channel and Perry Mason re-runs. He had enormous faith, never met a stranger, and had a strong desire to mentor young people, and share the Gospel of Christ with everyone, posting scripture on Instagram almost daily, often with beautiful backgrounds involving his own photography in which he had a knack for, especially the outdoors and steeples of churches.  He suffered from ESRD (End Stage Renal Disease) and was on Dialysis for over 12 years. Despite his health, Donald never let it get in the way of being an amazing Father, and especially Grandfather. He cared tremendously for people, especially his family which he spoke about proudly as his “greatest blessing”.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Stacy Carpenter (nee Mullin) sisters, Dawn Browning (nee Carpenter) Joann Neal (nee Carpenter) & Diann Carpenter and Grandson Jordan Pendang.
