RECKERS

Elmer Charles, age 97, of Cincinnati passed away on July 12, 2021. He was born on March 5, 1924, in Cincinnati to the late Elmer G. and Helen Reckers. He is preceded in death by his wife, best friend, and the love of his life, Margaret Rose Reckers (nee Kasselman) on March 28, 2019. Elmer is survived by his devoted children, Robert E. (Robin) Reckers, Marianne T. (James) Schwerman, Michael J. (Mary Helen) Reckers, and Charles M. (Laurie) Reckers; 9 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

Elmer as part of the greatest generation, served his country during World War II as a Staff Sergeant in United States Army.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 9 a.m. until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. with Father Andrew Reckers officiating, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 2900 Galbraith Rd., Cincinnati 45239.

Memorial contributions may be offered to St. Ann Catholic Church.
