Grace M. (Stinson) Rhodes

Grace Marie Rhodes was born February 4, 1921 in Port Royal, Kentucky to Willie B. and Artie (Berry) Stinson. She married Arthur L. Rhodes and they enjoyed 60 years of marriage until his passing on October 27, 2000. Loving mother of Pat (Howard) Gundler, Ken (Sue) Rhodes and the late infant Robert Rhodes. Cherished grandmother of Kim (David) Gorzynski, Becky (Jim) Holcomb and Donnie (Dani) Rhodes; great-grandmother of Tyler, Samantha and DJ Rhodes, Mason, Hallie and Kenton Holcomb and Jonathon Garrett. Aunt to many nieces and nephews.  Proceeded in death by her sister Mary ( late Fred) Garrett, brother, Kenneth Stinson (late Connie) and William (late Betty) Stinson. Art and Grace traveled the country where she took many, many pictures. She enjoyed quilting and dozens of babies she did not know were covered in quilts she made. Grace was a long time United Methodist woman. She passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the age of 99 years.  A special thanks to Queen City Hospice and Tri-County Extended Care for their compassionate care. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 from 11 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 12pm at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy, Ohio 45231. Entombment to follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made out to the donor’s charity of choice.
