Jo Ann (Harper) Salyers

Jo Ann was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky to Cordie (nee Pruitt) and Thurnie Harper on April 2, 1956. She is the beloved mother of Shawn Salyers, Nick (Karen) Salyers, Tyler (Nicole) Brooks and Logan (Gracie) Brooks; cherished grandmother of Harper, Bennett and Lyndi Salyers; survived by siblings Ernie (Kay) Harper, William (the late Charlene) Harper, Faye (the late Bob) Somma, John Harper and Frank (Janet) Harper; preceded in death by husband Ralph Michael Salyers and siblings Howard (Betty), Clester, Fred, Jerry (Diane), Judy (Randy) and Jesse. 

Jo Ann was known for her thoughtfulness and love for others. She had a giving heart and loved to show how much she cared through gift giving and other selfless gestures. Jo Ann also enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends and was known for her unique and delicious desserts. 

A visitation for Jo Ann will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Avenue in Mt. Healthy from 10 am until time of funeral service at 12 noon with burial immediately following at Crown Hill. In lieu of Flowers please make donations to the Hospice Care Center of Cincinnati.
