Melissa was born to Jean May (nee Orahood) and Verner LeVant Ott in Painesville, Ohio on October 27, 1948. She was the beloved wife of the late David Michael Tanno, devoted mother of the late Ben J. Tanno and Laura M. Tanno; adoring grandmother of Benjamin and Matthew Smith; loving sister of Melanie Morrow; and dear aunt of Colleen Byers, Kevin Morrow, Kelly Armstrong, Kenneth (Dana) Armstrong and the late Kevin Armstrong. Melissa was a faithful supporter of the Cleveland sports teams who enjoyed gardening and crafts. She loved hosting game nights and big Italian dinners for family and friends. Services for Melissa will be held privately by the family at a later date.
