Michael Urbassik Obituary

Michael, age 73, of Fairfield Township, Ohio went home to be with the LORD on Thursday, November 11, 2021. He was born on June 27, 1948, in Johnstown, PA to the late Michael and Josephine Urbassik.  He resided in Milwaukee, WI for 37 years before moving to OH to be near grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Urbassik; children, Michaele (Cam) Tomrell and Ryan (Sarah) Urbassik; grandchildren, Micah, Caleb, Josie and Aidan Urbassik and J.D. Tomrell; sisters Nancy, Helen and Delores; sister-in-law, Rhona and brother- in-law, Rich, and many nieces and nephews.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Lou; sister, Susan and brother-in-law, Steve. Michael graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering then worked at Eaton Corp for 33 years.  He was quite involved with the Association of Iron & Steel Technology.

Michael put his faith and trust in the LORD Jesus Christ as his Savior at age 40.  From then on, he studied God’s Word and praised God for opportunities to share it with others.

Michael loved family times together especially playing with the grandkids.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 2pm at Ross Bible Chapel, 2846 Hamilton Cleves Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Christian Missions In Many Lands (CMML).
