Michael E. Burdett

BURDETT, Michael E., AKA Spiritwalker, left this life on May 16, 2022 at the age of 76 years. He was the father of three children and grandfather of six. He was a member of the United Lenape Band and Adopted Tribal Peoples. Preceded in death by his parents, Luther Clinton and Nevada (West) Burdett and older brother, Raymond F. Burdett. Michael leaves behind is sister, Mary Ann Gearheart; two nieces, Glenna (Darren) Oliver and Kylie (Jacob) Berger, and a nephew, Dennis (Erin) Miley, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Michael was retired from General Motors. He earned a Bachelor of Natural Health Studies. Michael was a lifetime member of the John Wayne Foundation (dedicated to finding a cure for cancer through research), and he was an avid supporter of Father Flanagan's Boys Home and John Hagee Ministries. The family will receive guests at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy, OH 45231 from 6 to 8 PM on Thursday, May 26th, 2022. Graveside services with military honors will be on Friday, May 27th at 12 PM at Crown Hill Memorial Park, 11825 Pippin Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45231.
