Michele (Quante) Rengert

Michele Rengert of College Corner passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Covenant Care Hospice in Pensacola. She had an eighteen-month illness that took her life. She was formerly from Liberty, Indiana.

Michele is survived by her husband, Dr. Michael Rengert, a brother, Michael Quante, a sister, Marla Quante McKinney, plus several aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her parents, Wanda Quante and Dean Quante, preceded her in death.

Michele was described by family and friends as a sincere follower of Christ, loyal, organized, and adventurous (an avid outdoor person enjoying archery, cycling, and traveling).  Mike (her husband) described her as strong, bold, and beautiful. One of her favorite places is where the Platt River and Lake Michigan meet. This is the spot where family and friends will be taking her ashes later on this year.

Michele’s laughter was infectious; it will forever be heard in the minds of the people that love her.

Michele loved Mike with all her heart. They met when Michele was a realtor in Oxford, Ohio. Her broker assigned her the task of helping the new doctor in town. She married that doctor on June 20, 1987 at Oxford Bible Fellowship. They had a lifetime of working together at Rengert Health Center where she managed the company.

A gathering of loved ones will take place Friday, September 4, 5-7 pm at Ogle & Paul R. Young Funeral Home in Oxford, Ohio. Everyone who loves Michele is invited.
