Pam J. Matthews

Pam J. Matthews passed peacefully with her loving husband and family by her side on Monday April 25, 2022, at the age of 72.  She was the beloved wife of John R. Matthews Sr. for 53 years. Devoted and loving mother of John R. (Sherry) Matthews, Jr. Cherished memere of Ashley Matthews, Neil (Emma) Matthews, John Matthews III, Victoria (Trey) Odell, and Jordyn Peters. Loving great-grandmother of Stella Matthews and Jameson Matthews. Dear sister of the late Patricia (Donald) Rajotte. Also survived by many brother in laws, sister in laws, and numerous nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by her father, Raymond O'Neil; her memere, Rose Poulin; her grandson, Jack Kenneth Matthews; and her great-grandson, Jaxson Redman Matthews.

Pam was an Educational Assistant for 33 years at Central Elementary where she truly loved her job and the children in which she taught. She retired in 2019.  While her son played little league baseball, Pam was the treasurer for the Fairfield Youth Baseball Association. Pam enjoyed reading and crocheting.  Pam loved spending time with her family, friends and traveling.  Pam was a member of the Lindenwald United Methodist Church. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 4th from 11 AM until time of the Funeral Service at 1 PM at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, OH 45231.
