Colerain Twp. - Peggy A. Hasselbeck. Beloved wife of Matthew S. Hasselbeck. Cherished daughter of the late Charles Keefer and the late Juanita Wright. Devoted mother of Carly (Thomas) Hill and Jolie (Ethan) Arnold. Loving grandmother of Noah, Ellie, Dani, Carter, Evelyn, and Brooklyn. Dear sister of the late Gail Ryan and Debra Keefer. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Peggy passed away on November 17, 2021 at the age of 63 years. She worked for Bass Pro Shop and The Cincinnati Insurance Company. For Peggy, her family, especially her grandkids, they were her whole world. She loved traveling with her husband.  Trips to Chicago to see her sisters, hunting trips to Minnesota and Canada with her husband and her favorite trip was to California and sitting on the coast listening to the waves. She loved to volunteer with her kids PTO, Cookie mom for her daughters Girl Scout Group, team parent for their sports teams, and she herself ran Cross Country for Colerain High School. She was an avid lover of the Holidays as it brought family and friends together. She loved Halloween and especially Christmas.  She participated in multiple Christmas skits while working at The Cincinnati Insurance Company bringing lots of laughs to all her co-workers. She volunteered regularly to ring the bell at Christmas time for the Salvation Army and she loved working the Santa workshop and the Easter Bunny Celebrations at The Bass Pro Shop where she could see the excitement in the kids and help keep the holiday spirit alive. She believed that kindness went miles and would always try to do a random act of kindness whenever she could. Peggy was known for her quick wit, humor, kindness and loyalty. Peggy will be missed greatly by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 23rd from 10:30 AM until time of the Funeral Service at 12 PM at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy, OH 45231. Interment to follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park. Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
