Sharon was born in Georgetown, Ohio to Rosie Evelyn (nee Fithen) and Marshall Sweet on February 25, 1948 She married Robert Taylor on September 8, 1967 and together they raised their family in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sharon didn't know a stranger and was a friend to all. She enjoyed arts and crafts, particularly sewing and scrapbooking. She had a soft spot for animals and had many pets over the years. More than anything, she loved her family.
She is the beloved wife of Robert Taylor; devoted mother of John (Theresa) Taylor, Jennifer (Jon) Mason, David (Elisabeth) Taylor, Tabatha Sweet and Larry Sweet; cherished grandmother of Joshua Mason, Justin Mason, Jillian (Adam Amburgy) Mason, Kaitlin Taylor, Mikaylah (Brian) Rose, Allison Taylor, Nate (Shiann) Taylor, Sarah Taylor, Meghan (Brooks) Harvey, Ethan Hacker, Dylan (Abigail) Taylor, Hayden Hacker, Landen Holland, Kaliyah Holland and great-grandmother to Edward Rose and Ansel Rose; and dear sister to Gary (Linda) Stacy and Larry Sweet. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Terry Sweet, Perry Sweet, Melvin Sweet, Otis Sweet and Oris Sweet.
A visitation for Sharon will be held at Paul R. Young Funeral Home (Mt. Healthy) on Saturday, June 27, 2026 from 9 am until time of funeral service at 11 am.
